Tim Mitchell is the Solicitor Director of Bay Legal. He was admitted in 1995 and enjoys practising law in a boutique commercial and general practice. He is also a registered migration agent.
Tim worked in first tier law firms in the 1990s primarily in commercial transactions and infrastructure projects. Since establishing Bay Legal in 2005 he has continued to develop his practice in assisting companies particularly in general commercial transactions, civil litigation, property, leasing and intellectual property. He also has considerable experience in criminal defence and employment matters and has been involved with the determination of contested estates including Family Provision Act claims in the Supreme Court of NSW.
Previously Tim worked in NSW State Government in an advisory capacity for the Minister for Fair Trading, Corrective Services and Sport & Recreation and in a senior advisory capacity with the Ministry for Transport.
In 1989, Tim co-founded the Australia Asia Young Leaders Program Inc.
For extra curricular activities, Tim enjoys being with his family, hiking, camping, reading history and philosophy.

Codie is a solicitor with prior experience at several private practices and as an intern at Kingsford Legal Centre and the National Pro Bono Resource Centre. She has experience in the areas of estate planning, deceased estates, criminal defence, debt recovery and civil litigation.
Codie has a Chinese Malaysian background and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, Hokkien and Malay.

Thao has been admitted as a lawyer for five years practising in Family Law, Personal Injury Law and Workers Compensation, in New South Wales and Victoria. She also has experience in estate planning, property law, and commercial law.
Thao is an Approved Legal Services Provider with the Independent Legal Assistance and Review Service.
Having seen the impact of difficulties in families from a young age, Thao is passionate about empowering those going through complex and emotionally fraught legal proceedings by delivering the best possible service to her clients with respect, empathy and compassion.
Out of the office, Thao enjoys cheerleading, baking and learning about astro and quantum physics and ancient Egyptian history.

Before joining Bay Legal as a Paralegal and now as a Solicitor, Penny was employed by a major Australian bank for 10 years. Penny’s banking career included various roles in lending, funds management and government and regulatory affairs. Penny also holds a Bachelor of Economics.

Inggrid is a BAS Registered Agent and has over ten years experience as a bookkeeper. She also worked for many years in commercial enterprises in Indonesia prior to emigrating to Australia in 2000.
